Rail Tech Group - A Progressive Workforce
Pictured Above: Gary Brackley Rail Tech Head of Signalling, with April 2009 TraineesThe Rail Tech Group is pleased to announce that they have recently recruited a further 7 trainee signalling engineers to add to its growing signalling workforce. The trainees have been recruited to supplement the company’s main core business and this recent intake is in addition to 7 additional trainees that started back in April 2009. This now brings Rail Tech’s direct employee level upto 95 ranging from Project Engineers, Signalling Supervisors, SMTH Team Leaders, Installers and Assistant Installers.
The latest trainees were selected from over 100 applicants hoping to become a part of Rail Tech’s accelerated signalling training programme. Mary Wood, Rail Tech Group H.R Manager said “Our trainees were selected using a combination of both technical and non-technical vocational testing techniques. Our last 4 trainee programs have included people from all walks of life although transferable skills have been of benefit. Recent programs have included many ex-MOD personnel through our association with the Career Transition Partnership scheme. We will continue to recruit fresh people into our business and with Rail Tech providing competent in-house training we expect them to reach the very high standards that are expected of our employees.
We have also been working pro-actively on instilling our company values into our new trainees. We believe that the extra efforts we are placing on these softer issues will continue to ensure we produce first-class signalling engineers for both our existing and future customers.”
